Library Instruction
The goals of our information literacy program are to enable students to think critically about the research process and to teach them to hone their ability to find, retrieve, evaluate, and use information at a university level. We encourage all faculty to schedule instruction sessions with us.
Course Reserves
Instructors may place textbooks and other course materials on reserve for their students.
Distance Education Services
An instructor who is offering a course online should be aware of special services and policies in place to assist both the instructor and the students.
Loan Privileges
Faculty and staff may check out books from the main collection for four months (120 days) and can renew them up to three times. Government Documents, Audiovisual Materials, and items from Special Collections may be checked out for 4 weeks.
Carrels
Carrels are assigned to individual faculty and graduate students with a research interest that requires continuing and intensive use of library resources.
